PROFILE

Gregory David Mayo has established a solid reputation as an international entertainment and media professional over the past two decades. In 1993, he founded his own talent agency in Los Angeles and for over fifteen years represented star and established acting, writing, and directing talent for film, television, and the Broadway stage. He has negotiated thousands of contracts with the emphasis on maximizing value for his clients. Former clients include Academy, Emmy, Golden Globe, and Tony Award winners and nominees.

Relocating to Berlin in 2008, Mr. Mayo continued his career in entertainment by working as the International Talent Representative for a German talent agency. During his tenure, he was responsible for attracting and developing acting talent for the international film and television markets. In 2010, Mr. Mayo moved into development with one of Germany’s largest television producers but returned to independent talent representation by launching his own management company in 2011.  Wanting to be at the epicenter of the entertainment industry, Mr. Mayo relocated back to Los Angeles during the spring of 2013 and now often serves as a bridge from the American to the international talent markets. He is a licensed, California talent agent and holds guild franchises with AEA, DGA, SAG/AFTRA, and WGA.   

Gregory David Mayo holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Pepperdine University – Los Angeles, Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA) from Denison University – Granville, Ohio, and completed one year of graduate work in Philosophy at The George Washington University – Washington, D.C. Additionally, he has participated in several entertainment seminars at the University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA) and the American Film Institute (AFI).

Professional associations include the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS), Who’s Who in California, and The Gospel Music Association (GMA). He has been a guest speaker at CSUSB and in Berlin at the iSFF Institute for Film and Television, Fritz - Kirchhoff School of Acting, International Theatre of New York, and on Deutschland Funk Radio.  Onscreen interviews in the United States include the Electroboy Documentary, E! True Hollywood Story, and Day & Date.
